Is it Bush's fault that the UN lacks any real moral authority
and that France and Russia both put their short term economic interests in Iraq ahead of any responsible efforts to disarm a very dangerous Saddam Hussein?
Does it really make any sense that world powers on both sides of the issue must offer lavish monetary gifts (i.e. bribes) to despicable tin pot 3rd world dictators, just to secure that mythical UN seal of approval to their coalition building efforts?
To hell with the increasingly foolish and irrelevant UN - a coalition of the willing and responsible is still a coalition, and it's quite sufficient.
