Screw the charter, look at their history.

The only ones who have wiped their hind ends with the U.N. Charter more than the U.N. itself are most of its totalitarian and authoritarian members.

Read the charter carefully, and ask yourself if the United Nations has actually been fulfilling any of it.

Which wars have been settled by the U.N. alone? Where have U.N. troops made a real difference? What respect does the U.N. have for freedom and rights when it treats dictators like old friends while spitting on free nations?

IMO, the best thing that could happen to the U.N. is for it to give up the idea of being a political referee, and stick with its charitable and other aid functions, where, despite corruption, there has been at least some good done.
