The coalition includes Britain, Spain, Italy, Australia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, and most of Eastern Europe. A lot more are on the fence.

Have you ever noticed that when opposing nations are discussed, hardly anyone mentions anybody other than France and Germany? And of course, their motivations, unlike the apparently mercenary ones assigned to the pro-war side by the anti-war movement, must certainly be pure and honorable.

The Left dismisses the pro-war nations as irrelevant, , while assigning a huge importance to what France and Germany think. Who cares what the rest of Europe thinks? Of course, this is pretty much the attitude of France and Germany too.

We'll see. France and Germany better hope Saddam's paper shredders are working.
