Have I ever written anything to the effect that "all war is unjustified"? I wouldn't, because sometimes war is justified, most clearly in self defense.

Have I ever bemoaned the fate of "innocent Iraqis", or gone on about the suffering caused by the UN sanctions?

What's going on here is just the classic attempt by the warmonger side to deflect attention from what people are really saying about Bush's war, to try to turn it into easily-argued cliches from the 60s.

I've stated my position consistently, and clearly enough that anyone not blinded by partisan rage could understand it. Bush has taken a potentially worthy goal and, through incompetence and arrogance, has transformed it into what will be the most disastrous military and geolopolitical adventure in US history. The damage done by the Vietnam War will pale in comparison. He's squandering our capital--moral, political, and economic--at an astounding rate.
