Sorry. If my post sounded like I was flaming you specifically, then I worded it badly. Many anti-war pundits who enthusiastically supported Clinton's military endeavors have raised this particular issue, and the hypocrisy of it rubs me the wrong way.

So pervasive is the "chickenhawk" talking point, that I would bet a large number of people think Colin Powell was never in the military.
