If you think those are "myths," I would give a lot to know the name of your economic Nobel Prize winner. Bet it ain't Milton Friedman.
Governmental controls on helath care NECESSARILY mean government monopoly and removal of market forces.
The very CONCEPT of governmental controls implies suppression of market forces. That's the whole damn POINT of them. What exactly IS a "government control" if not using force to do something the market would not do?
And while such controls may start out as a partial thing, it inevitably graduates to total control as the market forces are subverted and things go further out of whack. Our current health care system, a dog's breakfast combining socialized medicine and regulation-clogged markets, is heading this way.
All things valued to humans necessarily have a measurement in economic terms
Well, you can't buy love, but all things and services that have to be created and produced by human beings have a measurement in economic terms. This includes even human necessities.
If you demand food, shelter, medical care, or anything else as a right, regardless of the willingness of the provider to give them or of your ability to pay for them, then somewhere along the line you are going to have to force someone to provide it.
To keep it short, if you demand free bread, you must either enslave the farmers or the people you force to pay them on your behalf.
Leftist have many clever ways of dancing around this basic truth, of course.
