WOOOhhha! You mean times, treatments and demographics change? You mean politicians can't balance the books? Wow, The scales hath fallen from mine eye!
Of course we have to 'save' medicare from time to time, its the real world out there.
Medicare will fail WHEN we don't maintain it. That will be more about politics and people with axes to grind about social programs than about the real-world workability of the program.
