I work right in the Canadian medical system, and I've talked to lots of Americans about the system there, and while the Cdn system isn''t perfect, I'll take it any day over the US one.

Cost of my medical insurance (on my paycheque) - $0
Cost to me of a week's stay in hospital - $0
Not having to worry about having to choose whether I get treated for cancer or a heart attack - priceless
