Everybody's a critic...
I wonder where the line between "rushing forward too fast" and "bogged down" is. Seems to be a narrow one.
Face it, if Bush had ripped open his jacket to reveal that he was Superman, flown to Iraq and captured Saddam personally, there are plenty of people who would still find a reason to rip him a new one.
I'm willing to wait and see how it turns out. Others have made a good case that had we waited to accumulate more soldiers, we may have gone into summer. Maybe, maybe not. The Pentagon says it was going to deploy the other troops anyway. Maybe, maybe not.
So far, compared to a few military boners pulled on the watches of a few other Presidents, Bush is looking pretty good so far.
