but given our promises and given the time I think this is what we had to do... They have a few tens of our people as POWs....sadly they dont abide by the geneva conventions...we have a few thousand of theirs as POWs and they are eating better than they have in months....We did get screwed by Tukey, and it will cost them no matter what we paid them- Would you rather give them time to dig in more then attack? Or not attack at all and let this maniac grow?

I suggest we are fighting this war at an intentional disadvantage because we dont want civillians hurt....our opponent has no problem killing his people....That alone shows why we need him gone....

Personally I think we should have promised a few billion to the first guard that puts a bullet in Saddams skull...then we coulsld have moved in easier....

Just drop leaflets saying "Kill the bastard, and get 500 million dollars and protection fot life, any place you want"....the beast would be dead in a week....then we explain to his successor that if he is an animal the same will happen to him....much simpler than war isnt it?

Assasination is an ugly word, but if it saves 10's of thousands of forced conscripts and MANY civilians its seems like a nice word to me.....NONE of us, especially the forces over there want to kill an innocent Or the coerced.......just kill the head of the snake and that will shorten the war and save FAR more lives on their side than ours.... Lets face it, if we go toe to toe with his trained "elite" their losses to ours will be at best 10 to 1....he is just a meglomaniac , like Koresh and jim jones... his followeres mean nothing... kill the monster beforehe forces his people to die.....There is NO question of right or wrong here, any sane person knows that answer- the question is only if he is worth the cost...

so far as far as I know he could have shown evidence, even easily picked it up from other sites and claimed it was at the markets.but he did not.... he is losing control...he WILL be out of power in a month or two, and then...welll man I would hate to be him, billions of dollars or not, what do you want to bet that he has enemies youu would like?
