From where I stand you are correct.
Nothing would please me more than getting out of SA and it would seem to be an opportune time and a well received thing in other ME countries.
What we don't know is whether the Saudi's are wearing out the knees of their robes begging us to stay and protect them from the Islamic hordes. We do not want and will not tolerate another fundamentalist government.
Things are seldom as they seem to be in the Arab world
