If we had not taken out the terrorist in Afghanistan, killed or captured many of their top members, confiscate their weapons, and disrupt their communication’s, similar attacks might have occurred in 2002- and you can bet you would have included those numbers in the stats.
The WTC was a terrorist attack. It does not skew the numbers.
Fact: fewer Americans have died in 2002 from terrorist attacks than they did in 2001.
