compact format
Thank you, Robert! (am I really the only regular stuck in 8x6 land?)
As a matter of fact, with the settings at 'compact' and 'smaller', I can get everything I need - especially after Tom's comment reminded me I can use the arrow keys and pg up/dn. I'm so used to mousing, I forget things like that.
Didn't notice the stray caret was gone - it didn't exist in every board, and it never bothered me much anyway.
Good news about the tweed - wrong season for wool, anyway. ;-)
