I don't think any of the liberals here on this board supported Hussein, not even "de facto-ly".
He was an oppressor, but there are many more like him who get their military to perform the murders, the tortures, and the many crimes which go un-noticed by our government, simply because these dictators are covering our political and corporate asses already.

Bush hyped Sadam as a tyrant to take over the oil fields (illegally) while the whole world watched.
