I beg to differ.
First of all, gas is not cheap. It has gone up here in Florida a couple of months before the war, and it's barely dropped at all.
And if your name is Bush (and/or Cheney), then you are part of the Pax Americana draft that says whoever owns the middle east oil rules the world.

Also, WHY do they want to drill for oil in the Arctic and off our coastlines?
