If you think about Ed's logic you will find it disturbing (I hope).

Frankly, I believe that E.P. is actually a disinformation specialist cleverly dispatched to discredit the very causes he advocates. That is, his kooky, crankish, and insanity-laced polemics posts have the effect of discrediting the study of the NEO impact hazard, etc. There may be a method to his madness, though one should note the breakdown is 95% madness and 5% method.
