I wasn't planning on replying to Nick or Alex as I felt this board inappropriate to the task. But, yeah I'm game if Robert doesn't mind a little Off Topic, Flaming and Community type posts at Space Science.
I don't think it matters what his motives are. Ed does more damage than good and thinks somehow he is the exclusive owner of some topics here. And anyone interested in Mars Exploration can't also be interested in NEO Exploration because...because...I guess you would have a full plate with just Mars.
Like other people haven't thought about the possible negative events after a large impact and how easy it would be to learn more about Minor Planets. How it would be beneficial to anyone interested in space exploration to visit a NEO and learn to move them...
Actually the part of his BS that most upsets me is the arrogant pigheadedness it takes to say science is cargo cultism and him not having a clue what either is! Oh! And his claiming without any kind of evidence the Mars Society is a danger to society.
I find it ever so slightly ironic that the two stupidest morons on the planet find comfort in each others company...of coarse as long as they don't get to close and start asking each other their beliefs. I mean doesn't Ed think White Mars is the "truth" and doesn't Barry think Blue Mars is the "truth"...
