Barry thinks that sample containment by explosive welding is inadequate.
I do not: Rummel's right.
Barry is certain that life exists on Mars.
I don't know - that being the case, I have simply done my best to secure the tools necessary to find out - read up on autonomous rover control systems sometime.
What I worry about is NASA trying to present limited samples from limited areas as being sufficient to clear the back-contamination problem, and then prematurely starting in on manned Mars flight, only to have it come to a complete stop. If we're going to use Mars, the Mars we'll be using will be the real Mars, not the imaginary one you people live on.
Where I do agree 100%v with Barry is that you Mars Nuts are too mentally warped to actually profitiably discuss much of anything with. That being the case, since I can't find any good reason for being here, I guess it must simply be that I simply enjoy interupting you every time you start in on one of those manned Mars circle jerks - G*D forgive me, but I do enjoy it... I'm sure that speding time here is its own punishment
The reality, since you like to use that word, is that very few people care deeply aobut Mars, and fewer still care about manned Mars flight - it's entertaining and all that, but that's about it...
