Yep...that's me...Mr. Heartless.

You're a mean one, Mr. Tech.
You really are a heel.
You steal away their votes,
You haven't a heart to feel.
Mr. Tech.

You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.

You're a monster, Mr. Tech.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of cliches,
You've extremism in your soul.
Mr. Tech.

I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.

You're a vile one, Mr. Tech.
You make the right wing smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of Ann Coulter spewing bile.
Mr. Tech.

Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take Ann Coulter spewing bile.

You're a foul one, Mr. Tech.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart condemns ex-felons
Your soul is full of bunk.
Mr. Tech.

The three words that best describe you,
are, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."

You're heartless, Mr. Tech.
You're the depriver of poor sots.
Those who seek to pull a lever
But who sleep in stone cots,
Mr. Tech.

You're a three decker sauerkraut and toadstool
sandwich
With arsenic sauce.

I'm afraid giving felons the right to vote is counter-productive to the goals of society. You keep thinking individually and I think collectively. A society cannot long stand which infects its government with the mindset of "ex-criminals." I oppose those states laws which let ex-felons vote and it's a sure sign of how backward the state is if they do. Lord knows in California and New York ex-felons could make a nice little voting block with their own special interests - much as the children of illegals have become crusaders for immigration reform. Statistically, you have WAY too many folks who are not reformed at all - who are still criminals.

These folks have no place in helping form laws when they have shown no respect for law.

You also make the mistake with a mindset of "If the rich can buy back their vote in certain parts of the nation - why should the poor suffer without?" That's the wrong approach. Your efforts should not be to enfranchise the ex-felons but to disenfranchise the rich ex-felons - at least that is if one sees and understands why "ex-felons" with voting rights is a very bad idea.

2% or 25% - it's a bad idea.
