Naturally you fell for it. Just as you have fallen for Bush's falacious claims about Iraqi nuclear, chemical and biological weapons.
Shortly after that Iraqi freighter story surfaced, the Pentagon publically discounted it as nonsense. The source of the story was World Net Daily, not exactly well known for its accuracy.
