There are 30 years of evidence that Israelis and Palestinians can't live together. There should be a permanent barrier between them, no doors, guarded by a heavily armed coalition force. Neither side should think that they have the right to set foot on the others territory. Not for political purposes, not for employment purposes, not for any purpose. The barrier should be solid concrete reinforced with iron rods driven many meters underground to prevent tunnelling.
This would be far more economical than what is being done now. And it would solve the territorial dispute that has inspired terrorist attacks all over the world.
