You may also notice that, when he posts, it's political analysis, not pseudopsychoanalysis, which is one of the things that has driven me bats here. ("All liberals are..." "The Left is always..." etc.) I wonder if you will keep up.

You see, here you are giving away exactly what you shouldn't. By confessing that such pseudopsychoanalysis drives you bats - you invite more of it. This indicates a very open and trusting personality which fundamentally believes all people are good at heart. Either that or you trust this inner circle enough to reveal that which can be used against you.

Lindy made that same mistake when she told Phil and Ed how much she disliked them and the way they treated her. Such an admission invites more of the same and still to this day we can see that enmity has not yet departed or subsided.

Besides, political analysis is the first layer and the publicly acceptable threshold for polite conversation. In this group we know more and are in some ways far more blunt and honest than we would be with our neighbors. In fact this group is an accelerated social prototype of future indoor cities and communication.

Imagine...the year is 2257. The sun has increased it's intensity by 5% and the global temperatures average from 115 in winter to 180 in summer. All major cities have been enclosed and shielded from the heat and radiation. Power and energy are life. Air conditioning technologies which are stagnant now - are explored and new refrigerants and methods of extracting heat are employed. The land masses shrink Ohio and Nevada are the new approximate coast lines. This creates a housing problem and an energy problem.

Fashion? Fashion is a complete radiation and cooling suit for exploring outside the covered cities. Streets are a waste of space. All streets are built into housing units which resemble apartments. Power is the politics. Politics regard power. In this case power generation to keep the society alive is the most important issue.

In this sort of future internet communication is normal and pseudopsychoanalysis is engaged in all the time.
