BD says: Sorry Chris, none of these people is out there professing they are Mars Society members or that MECA or Phonenix is in anyway connected to a Mars Society sponsored mission. That simply is false.

As far as picking on you? Hmm...it was your people who started this little war on the MSNBC BBS thre years ago and has continued till this day. Mars Soceity reps have flamed my concerns regarding Mars and planetary protection from the beginning.

Alos, if ICAMSR set up a mock sample receiving laboratory analogous to your Utah and Arctic stations and its members doned canvas and duct tape level 4 biohazard suits, what would you think? Would you think ICAMSR was doing "serious research"?
