Fuel cells
In vehicle computers, including associated software
EVA capabilities and techniques
Long duration (for the time) life support systems
Orbital maneuvering capability
Rendevous and docking systems
All of these technologies and capabilities were tested and proven on Gemini before being incorporated into Apollo. The actual hardware itself wasn't the same and that isn't the issue. What counts is the development and test of the technology.
There were two types of Apollo Command Modules, the Block I & Block II. The Block I was developed largely in parallel with Gemini and was a disaster (as in Apollo 1). The quality control was incredibly poor, and it was expected that no other Block 1 vehicles would've been flown after Apollo 1. The Block II vehicles incorporated many improvements and were the standard for the rest of the Apollo program.
