I will point out, for the umpteenth time, that the inspectors were being led in circles by Saddam's regime, and very little, if any, of what we have learned since May 1st would ever have been learned by the inspectors, even given ten years to work in.
All the hindsight you are gloating about was only made possible by the fact that we occupied Iraq, and obtained access that would never have been possible otherwise. Think about that for a while.
You might also want to keep track of what's happening in Libya, where U.N. nuclear inspectors are realizing to their chagrin just how much they missed there, too. Kind of like the nuclear program in Iraq that they missed until after the first Gulf War.
I'm sorry, but the U.N. has done very little over the past fifteen years to convince me that America's safety is best left in their hands.
