Who's the bean counter?
So if a soul is a murderous bastard one lifetime and the victim the next- then is the cycle over?
Must the killer be killed 1, 10, 20 or 100 times before his Karmic debt is repaid?
When did the cycle start?
If this is an evolutionary process are "new" souls inherently evil?
Or is it all "exhaust" like Tom says. Is there nothing more to this world than our five senses allow us?
