Ability that is, I read recently that Dell had turnrd tech support over to India. All support calls were routed to an Indian firm. The results were a disaster and the deal was terminated and service was re-established in the US.
All we can do is try to make things as attractive as possible for keeping our business at home. There are many ways to do that including what you suggest.
As the third world countries become more educated they will also lose their edge in cheap labor and they will face the same problems we have.
