Maybe it has something to do with the Republicans willingness to resort to whatever slander they can find with the remotest shred of evidence re Clinton. (Please don't make me go into details in THAT again.)

Personally I agree with you though that we need to cut the bullshit and stick to real issues. The Bowsers of the world are hurting, not serving the Democratic cause with preposturous claims.
