Maybe -- just maybe -- they would like to be dealing with Bush, who turned a blind eye to them for so very long.
Maybe they understand that supporting his opponent is a way to discredit that opponent.
Maybe they believe that American voters really are a bunch of gullible rubes, and are acting on that belief.
