Well, if unilateralism is the name of the game and the US the center of the world, no wonder about the US disdain on what others think (espacially public opinions).
Would that pay off? We'll see.

Haven't the Germans been forced to release an Al Qaeda member because the US refused access for investagors to prisoners in Guantanamo and intelligence files?

The US wants the countries to cooperate in the fight against terrorism, but is the other way around taking place?
