Europeans are our traditional allies
While we shouldn't pick our leaders based on their preferences, it is not wise to scoff at their reaction. We share a common culture with Western Europe. They are our long time friends and partners. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Bush's biggest failure as president is our nation's alienation from the rest of the world. They really hate this guy. I think that is a real issue in this election.
