Conservative definition - 1: Anyone who attempts to exercise the rights they have left in a democracy. Risks becoming, 2: A person exercising their rights in a democracy who is arrested for doing so, and disappears into the night and fog. By definition guilty. No recourse.
Soon: 3: Anyone voting against a Republican candidate will be presumed to be a traitor. Under the "pre-emptive voting initative" announced by G. Bush on 9-11-04, anyone who is against the war on terrorism, as evidenced by voting against Republicans, is also a terrorist. "You're either for us or against us", you're either on the side of good or evil.
Traitors shall have their property sold with the proceeds going to finance the latest round of tax cuts for the wealthy.
Etc.
Maroons come in all colors, including the yellow of a deserter, or the red-white-and-blue of a phony patriot.
