"Forgive them, all, Father, for they know not what they do, or say. Or think."

58,000 Americans died in Vietnam. Hundreds of thousands more were wounded where it shows, and hundreds of thousands more were wounded where it doesn't.

And that's not counting the Vietnamese, who were just as human as we.

And for absolutely nothing. Except a US President's pride.

All that grief, all that misery, all that suffering, some of which still goes on.

For nothing. Except for a US President's pride.

Familys with dreams shattered, parents without children, children without a parent, wives without husbands.

For nothing except a President's pride.

It wasn't worth it, and anyone who could have prevented or ended it any way they could, should have!!

Period.

Only people who have never seen the brutality, the cruelty, the criminality of war can advocate it except as a last, very, very last resort.

Stop the shit about people waving signs, or some Iraqi veteran in a "war" where so far, in one year, they've lost fewer people than we did in one night. Where they are slaughtering civilians like they were popping popcorn.

And that veteran is as much a victim as were we, or are the Iraqis, or were the Vietnamese.

Victims of a US Presidents pride. Aided and abetted by stupid, insensitive people who think that killing is a great national sport. People who sound like the Conservatives on this board.

And you have the gall to be offended by a sign which, as offensive as it is, has the purpose of stopping human suffering.

Crawl into a hole. You should be ashamed of yourself, you're the one advocating cruelty, brutality, criminality. (So your US President and his buddies can loot the country.)

Geez. I wish there were a Christian God. I'd love to see the take His "kid" would have on this situation. The sign He would carry would be viscous compared to these.

And I find most of these offensive.
