So, assuming you looked at the pictures, what exactly is the level of your bar for being anti-American? For supporting our enemies instead of us?

Of course you can be critical of America without being anti-American.

You can be critical of your wife and still love her, but if you're calling her a skank, a whore, a waste of oxygen, and the worst bitch ever to walk the Earth, you might be dealing with issues other than honest concern and criticism.

Many of the people pointed out in these protests have gone far beyond simple concerned criticism.

It goes without saying that the psycho hose beasts are the ones picked out to take pictures of. All sides of the political spectrum play that game. But the ones being discussed are the specific ones in the pictures, particularly the one Lileks gave as an example.
