Those people do not echo my sentiments. At all. Even a little bit.
And I don't regard them as traitors.
They have taken an extreme, ill-advised, insensitive, almost cruel way to criticize their government. They have the right to do that.
Have they betrayed any covert CIA operatives? Not that I'm aware of.
Have they given any explosives to terrorists, harbored any terrorists, or do they plan to commit any terrorist acts? Again, not that I'm aware of.
Does their expressing dissatisfaction with the way the "war on terrorism" is being fought give aid and comfort to an enemy? I doubt it, any foreigner would know that there is a substantial number of people in the US who don't like their country becoming a bigger terrorist than al-Qaeda in terms of deaths of innocents.
To even pay them attention is a bit silly - they're screwy, and should be ignored, the way people do humping dogs, or a fart at the symphony.
But traitors? I don't think so. No more that conservatives overseeing the destruction of the Constitution, destroying the traditional US dedication to Human Rights, or attacking a relatively harmless Third World country in order to loot it is being a patriot.
At least those folks, goofy as they are, aren't killing anyone.
