I think it's a good thing. As a Catholic, I'm disgusted by the actions, or usually INaction, of the hierarchy of the Church. I was further disgusted that the whole thing was either hidden from Pope John Paul and he knew and had it swept under the rug. If everybody sues and this shit starts costing the Church money, maybe at last they'll wake up. We had an incident in KC where a Priest had kiddie porn on his computer and the Bishop knew about it and did nothing. Are our children safe in the Church?

The Bishop needs to be removed.

It pisses me off that, because of these assholes, I no longer have a Church. I will not attend a Church that turns a blind eye to this kind of thing. I will not give money to an Institution that does that. I will not finance their court suits and payments for their bad acts.
