This war was not about WMD. That was part of it, a big part, but that is not what this war is about. This war is about changing the Middle East. President Bush said so before we Liberated Iraq that his goal was to change the environment that breeds terrorists in the Middle East. He said that the terrorists have nothing to loose in there environment, so we will give them something worth loosing- freedom. That is why this is so important.
If Iraq becomes a successful democracy, it will change the face of the Middle East. I suspect Iran will follow. Afghanistan is also on its way. It is not easy, but it is worth it. A free Middle East will see the end of Middle East born terrorists.
So, you want to make this about WMD. Fine. We found a gallon of chemicals that violates the UN resolution. It is enough. It was unaccounted for and in violation of the UN resolution. We found proof, so now the war should be just for you. Why am I not surprised it is not. How much WMD do we need to find to make it just for you? I know the answer- none. Because this is not about being just or finding WMD for you. It is about your hatred for President Bush.
