Opinion versus fact
Did you read the report, or even the excerpt I took the time to provide? Why should I care about a link to yet another opinion? I value facts over opinions. It's a fact that that there is no evidence of a connection between Iraq and al Qaeda.
It's not like there's no evidence either way. There's evidence, all of it negative; to say that there was no connection between Iraq and al Qaeda is not an opinion formed in a vacuum. They had contacts, and the contacts failed to establish a relationship. The evidence contradicts Cheney's clear statements and Bush's ambiguous statements. This is a positive refutation of Bush Administration "misstatements", and all the partisan wishful thinking in the world won't change that.
