There's abundant evidence of that. In fact, as you'll soon hear from Joe Klein, President Clinton justified his strike on the Sudan "pharmaceutical" site because it was thought to be manufacturing VX gas with the help of the Iraqi intelligence service.

Since then, that's been validated.

What does "thought to be" mean? Validated how? The detection of EMPTA? Or something else?

What does this mean? The traces were found in Sudan and were proclaimed to be manufactured there. How does a trace of Empta point to Iraq?

Again, how does a trace of Empta mean Iraq? The administration could go a long way to clearing up the mystery, if they would just release the details of the lab work on the soil.

Also, I wonder if WP was used in the strike on the facility. Is there any way that combusting WP could bond with a methyl group if it came in contact with the right chemical in a lab? [admitting gross ignorance of chemistry].

This is old news. The CIA has said for a long time (what the commission said but apparantly will not publish) that there were some contacts, but no cooperation.

And now there's new intelligence, I realize that it seems perfectly normal and natural to you that there should suddenly be new intellegence. Sorry if non-Bush-supporters are more skeptical, but you should expect it to be so.

And some of these documents indicate that there is at least one officer of Saddam's Fedayeen, a lieutenant colonel, who was a very prominent member of al-Qaeda. That still has to be confirmed.

If confirmed, does this mean that Saddam sent his crony to join up? Or does it mean that Osama infiltrated Saddam's organization and that this Lt. Col. would have been ground up if Saddam found out?

But the vice president was right when he said that he may have things that we don't yet have. may have? Is this like "The report is not on my desk.????

And we are now in the process of getting this latest intelligence.
