It is my opinion that Don became emotionally invested in the FL election fiasco and can't get over it. He is not alone but he has a more acute case of bitterness that most. I doubt Gore himself is more bitter.
Note that he always refers to Bush as Mr. Bush, denying him the presidency in his mind. He is. of all the regulars here, the most partisan, in that his differences aren't philosophical, he would have no problem with anything that has happened in Iraq if Gore had done it or even if Bush had won a clearer victory.
The only way it ends for Don is for Bush to be out of office, be that next year or in 2008. If Kerry wins and contnues to pursue the war in Iraq with little or no change in policy, you will never see another death toll post from Don.
