Popular vote
If Bush had won the "popular" vote, and Gore had won the electoral college, there wouldn't have been a peep from the Democrats.
Clinton won two terms, and each time more of those who voted voted for someone else, especially the first time around. In 1992, Perot got nineteen percent of the vote, and zero electoral votes. 20 million Americans, shut out by the electoral college. In 1996, 8 million Perot voters got zilch.
Get over it already.
If this goes like I think it's going to, the margins are going to make this all moot anyway.
