Tom, how did I know you'd pick out the most damning part towards anti-war protest and only hilite that. I thought I was being rather balanced to put forward the article in its entirety which tells also of problems from simple cultural and religious differences which have nothing to do with media coverage.

It's my guess with the media coverage of the prison scandal is that as much bad as it's perceived as doing, it also is a shining example of freedom at its finest, the ability of a nation to be introspective and humble and acknowlege its own flaws. When will you ever see that people standing up against their government is what sets us apart from the rest? Let's make it clear who the bad guys in the scandal are, not the media but the racist, bullying jerks that got their rocks off torturing people and finding humor in it. They are the true traitors to the nation and to humanity.

At the same time I want to see more of the good we're doing over in Iraq in the media. I'm certain it's happening and know that there's good will being created daily. Whether it can overcome the bad stuff is yet to be seen. We can certainly hope.
