One last point.
There is no kind and gentle "better" way to fight a war, no matter what Kerry says. There is no way to defeat an enemy without anger on both sides. It doesn't really matter why the people shooting at you are doing it, particularly when they are a tiny minority of the entire population. When they are defeated, the rest of Iraq will be relieved, and further attacks will be discouraged.
Until then, I will cheer when my side wins. You can second-guess it all you want.
