re: Yes, breeding Terrorists...

Mark, the point is in hindsight force was not necessary.

I don't care if France was or wasn't going to agree to the use of force. As Tom's graph elsewhere showed (partly), they had more to loose thru the removal of Hussein than we did (he owed them lots of money). Strange when our "money/power" is at issue it is so much more "right" for us to do as we please than when someone else's does...

Again I tell you the Intel showed several things: one was Iraq still had WMD (with the ability to launch them in 45 minutes) a still very weak Iraqi army and heavy rebel resistance after the successful take over. Our generals prudently assumed the army was stronger than advertised, but as it turned out it was in fact much weaker. BTW, Bush and crew ignore the rebel resistance info (they wanted to believe we would be welcomed as heros and not invaders).

Terrorists are breed, if you don't know this I can help you to understand our danger.

Lots of Hussein's "money" left the country at the start of the war. We can hope not to go to terrorists, but I won't bet on it. Little of the oil for food money went into WMD and the rebuilding of his armies it would seem.
