Two Simple Ideas
Money isn't everything. The application should be obvious.
Democracy - will of the majority. If the majority believes something should be a priority it should be in a democracy.
If the majority wants to cap income it should happen. If they want to limit CEO's to 30,000/year it should happen. If the majority is that stupid their economy and democracy will fail. Democracy only works well in an educated and rational society. Basing policy on wishful thinking is not a good long term approach. If the majority thinks there are quality of life issues that can't be baught, but can be preserved that too should be a priority.
