If you haven't been hearing "worst job record since Hoover" from every liberal and his cat, you haven't been paying much attention.

For chart, go here, click on "Total Nonfarm Employment - Seasonally Adjusted."

Set the initial year range back to 1939, and click on "include graphs." I have no idea how to link directly to this stuff.
