No. The population has grown, too. One would expect there to be MORE jobs because of that.
There aren't enough MORE jobs though, to cover even the population growth.
It's a bit like inflation. Someone earning $1 and hour in 1960 could be making $3 an hour now, and conservatives could say accurately that the person is making THREE times what they were, and should be happy. THREE TIMES.
The reality is, as you and I know, the person is behind.
Same with jobs.
Worst record since Hoover, and that's WITH massive deficit spending.
