Not sure what "a few months" is. Job growth in payroll jobs has been steadily upward with no dips for a year now.

Of course, if you go by household employment, there are currently 1.8 million more jobs now than the previous peak of January, 2001, and more jobs now than at any time in America's history, but nobody likes to look at the household employment numbers. Not sure why they even bother to put up the statistic.
