A local (Houston) Army Sergeant who was hunting the WMD said they found plenty of documents and other evidence of WMD to convince him they exist. He also said the Iraqis loved to bury stuff in the desert. He feel confident we will find solid evidence.
It sure got quiet of the nuclear material that was shipped out. What was the final verdict on that material? Or those Iraqi missile engines that showed up in Jordan- the ones from banned missiles that Saddam said he destroyed. And then there is all those unmarked gas shells. No telling how many of those there are hidden among ordinary shells. And then there are those parts they found buried in that scientist yard, that are used to enrich uranium- and in excellent shape. And there has been no good explanation for those mobile labs other than they were used for WMD.
Anyway, they are still looking and they have a lot of desert to cover. The people looking feel confident WMD are still there. They are the ones that are there doing the looking. That is good enough for me.
If there is an October surprise, some people have only there selves to blame for being surprise, because those people have been told WMD exist.
