The U.S. government, including George Bush, have publically admitted that intelligence suggesting that Saddam had stockpiled hundreds of tons of chemical and biological weapons was wrong. Your suggestion that we just haven't found the stuff yet isn't believed by anyone anymore, including the Bush administration.
As for "October surprises," the best surprise any of us could have is if no more Americans died in the deserts of Iraq.
By the way, nearly 6,100 American soldiers have been wounded in Iraq - many of these with permanent disabilities - and around 12,000 Iraqi civilians are estimated to have been killed since the war began. All because George Bush claimed there were WMDs in Iraq that posed a threat to American citizens.
